But for the grace of God…

Took this in Chinatown a couple of weeks back. It’s a hip shot, actually. The guy caught me but didn’t say anything. Poor bugger. Anyway, gotta run, late for work.

Fantastic hop shot, Dave. I wonder what his story is? We might look at him and think, “Man, he’s had it rough”. It would totally surprise if he was the happiest guy alive. You just never know.

    • He sure looked down and out. Like, almost resigned to his lot in life. His looks says, there was a time when I’d have come down there and kicked your arse for taking my picture, but I can’t be bothered anymore.

Sometimes I picture you almost like saint Margaret of Cortona. She was the patron saint of (among others) the hoboes, homeless, insane, orphaned, mentally ill. It’s comforting to know that someone cares and records the plight of these people. Another excellent and inspirational photo Lazy Dude!
