What a mess

I came across this house with its roof torn off and interior gutted on my way to the bookstore one day back in July. There was a young guy cleaning it out and loading the debris into a big container on the front lawn. I asked if I could poke my head in and snap a few photos and he agreed. The carnage was full on. Made my buddy’s reno look like nothing. This was taken at Danforth Rd. & Warden Ave. in Scarborough. Hope you like it.

  1. Oh, thank goodness, I thought this was the same project you worked on earlier this year. 🙂 I like the hammer which adds to the story.

If you titled this “Ghost hammer,” you’d get 10,000 hits overnight.

  3. Thanks Scott. I agree — if this was my buddy’s place he’d be in trouble. He just moved in on Monday. Unfortunately, the contractor still isn’t finished. A very stressful situation for all involved.

LOL… damn, Terry, where were you this morning when I was naming this bad boy. 🙂 Thanks for the thought. Like your new avatar.

Lovely, messy to the abstraction point!
A picture very well taken, David.
    I like it.
It’s very difficult to properly frame this kind of subject, for the multitude of elements that throw your attention out of “focus”…
