Sugar Factory

Well, it’s been a very trying day. I’ve got my new computer up and running, but no email. And it’s been crashing and acting up ever since. I’ve got all new software on it that I’m not familiar with and it’s all a bit overwhelming. Oh well, I guess it goes with the territory. At least Lightroom 3 is now running as fast as it’s supposed to. It’s amazing to see things actually happen as you make adjustments to photos. Usually, I’d adjust something and then wait to see if it took. Very arduous way of editing. This photo was taken from Sugar Beach, which is named after the Redpath Sugar Plant across from it. The photo, if you haven’t guess it already you cheeky little monkey, is of the Repath Plant.

Nice contrast between the sugar factory and the city in the background.

Sugar in Toronto? Sugar beets perhaps. Great industrial photo as usual. Hope you get your computer up and running in all regards – it can be sooo frustrating.

    • Thanks Lynn. I’ve never been one to get excited about a new computer. I know how much work and headache there is when you replace a computer. I’d actually been dreading this. I should have been smart and held off the install until Monday so if there were issues he’d be available to come back Tuesday. Doing it Friday means waiting the weekend to fix anything. Oh well.
