Bluffs in Autumn Bloom

Here’s another photo from my outing Friday to the Scarborough Bluffs. Bluffers Park, to be exact. It’s a beautiful spot in the city and actually very close to where I live. As you can see, it’s very colourful this time of year. Hope you like it.

Looks like a beautiful place to spend an autumn day Dave. Did you go to the Badlands?

    • I got half way there but the traffic was so bad I finally gave up and came home. 2 1/2 hours on the road for nothing. I should have known better, since Toronto is the most congested city in North America, thanks to City Hall’s “War on Cars.”

Either I wasn’t here for while (which is so) or your photography has changed somehow… It is an amazing photo, with really amazing colors, but it’s also kind of really different from what mood your photos usually have. What’s been going on with you, something new?

    • Nothing is new here, really. A local magazine I often photograph for asked me to shoot some fall scenes, like leaves changing colour, that sort of thing. Sarah, the publisher, gave me a tip that the colours were spectacular down at the bluffs. Boy was she right. And the sky was amazing. too. I just got lucky, I guess. I typically don’t bother with landscapes because I don’t seem to have a knack for them, but this one I like.
