Cyclist breaking law again

As you might know, I’m not a big fan of Toronto cyclists. It’s not that I don’t like bicycles, it’s just I hate hypocrites. Here in Toronto cyclists blather on about how it’s their road too and how they don’t get any respect from car drivers. Yet, spend five minutes on any street corner in Toronto and you’re bound to see those same hypocrites committing offences that would land car drivers in jail. In this photo we see a jackass riding the wrong way down a one-way street. If I did this in my car everyone, particularly the cops, would be up in arms and rightfully so. They’d figure, he must be drunk because no one can be that stupid, can they? So what’s the answer? Those who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones. If cyclists want respect they should have to earn it like the rest of society. Stop being assholes on the road and maybe you’ll stop getting treated like an asshole on the road, right? Anyway, there’s my rant for today. 🙂

So I got in my first day at the new job. It went very well, although most of it was simply getting me settled in. Tomorrow I should begin the processing of learning my new role. Too me an hour to drive to work today and over an hour to get home. I guess there’s always a downside, right?

  2. There are many hypocrites these days. Sigh.

Oh, that is a long commute. You could use that time by listening to audiobooks or podcasts on your favorite subjects, like photography. 🙂 Drive safe!
