Night Station

I’ve posted a shot or two from this group a while back. This is a car wash now but when I was a kid it was Jack’s Sunoco, a gas station at the end of Gerrard St. just east of Victoria Pk. Ave. in Toronto’s Birchcliffe area. My first job was at Jack’s. I had no idea that all these years later I’d own a house just a block away.

I like this shot, really nice, rich, high key tones.

Nice shot. Funny thing is there was a Jack’s Sunoco in my life as a kid and it’s where i got my first job, but this was not the one. Mine was very far from Toronto. Thinking about it make me smile now.
