How much for that tree in the window?

It’s funny how before photography it seemed like I walked through my life half blind. I mean, out there was this whole other world of reflections I hardly took note of. Think of all the windows we walk by every day. How much glass we pass in our daily lives. Yet, how often do we really notice what’s being reflected in them? Of sure, once in a blue moon we’ll see something, but we likely miss 10 times more interesting reflections than we notice, right? Now that I’m learning to see, thanks to photography, I’m finding that the world has gotten so very much bigger, yet the amount of real estate my feet pass over each day isn’t really all that much more than before I picked up a camera. It’s the amount I’m seeing that’s increased. I’m sure anyone who really digs photography gets what I’m talking about, right? Anyway, have a good night.

Well said! I could not have said it better…But then I’ve had a glass or two of wine to try to keep the vacation vibes alive, even though I went to work today. It truly sucks to be back home. Lovely pic – you are really getting into angles lately it seems or is my head tilted?

  2. Frances says:

Yes, lol…my head is definitely tilted. It’s my “No problem mon” look. I see my reflection in my glass! Ha! Good Night!

    Wonderful image and words Dave.

  4. One of gifts of photography is the added awareness of life around us. Not just in the “seeing” part but I find am more aware of my other senses, too.

    BTW, trees are priceless. 🙂
