Corus Entertainment Building

This is the Corus Entertainment Building down next to Sugar Beach on Toronto’s harbour front. It’s home to Q107, a very popular classic rock radio station here in Toronto. Anyway, after getting mentioned on BlogTO for my moon photo, I thought I’d email a link to my moon shot to John Derringer, the host of the Q107 morning show, and see if he’d mention my blog. Sure enough, as I was having breakfast this morning before leaving for work, John mentioned my moon photo and my blog. How about that! Today I had about 150 more visitors than usual, which I’m sure was partly due to the magazine and the radio mention. Coincidentally, our photo walks group ended up at Sugar Beach Saturday and I took this photo of Q107 headquarters, having no idea at all I’d be mentioned on their radio station two days later. Pretty cool, eh? I guess that’s my 15 minutes of fame over and done with. I was really hoping it would have more to do with matching six numbers on a lotto ticket, but oh well.

Awesome! I love John Derringer !! I had no idea Q107 was in that building. I was at Sugar Beach on Saturday too. After Canada Blooms, I took my dad there to show him the beach and take his photo of course !!

    • For sure it must have been at a different time than our group, since we sort of overran the beach with photographers. Frankly, I prefer a more intimate group. Saturday was more a crowd than a group.
