Gulls over Union

So I met my friend Jen downtown today for an after outing with our cameras. I haven’t seen her for a very long time so it was a really nice treat. We got some nice shots, to boot. And we lunched at Red Lobster. Yum. Anyway, here’s the first shot I processed from our outing today. I took this out front of Union Station. Hope you like it.

I do! I like the perspective, the bird AND the bird’s shadow! Glad to hear you had a good day with a good friend. 🙂

I really like the lighting in this shot. You also captured the shadow of the bird on the ground that makes it almost surreal. The warm colours of the columns are striking too.

The lighting and shadows are divine.
