Hold that streetcar!

Here’s a shot from yesterday, at the end of the outing. I have to be honest, I wasn’t feeling myself yesterday. Pretty depressed, actually. That happens from time to time. I was sort of hoping someone would show up but she didn’t. Oh well, life goes on. I tried to make the most of it but wasn’t much of a conversationalist in the group. I’m feeling better today but still a tad down. Didn’t sleep well again last night. Another oh well. But I made some Masala chicken and veggies (Indian food) this evening and had it with Basmati rice. Yummy. Wish I’d picked up some Naan bread to go with it. I’ll have leftovers now for the rest of the week. I figure I’ll be talking fluent Hindu by Thursday. 🙂 So back to the shot. I saw this old Chinese woman in Chinatown trying to make the streetcar and figured it would make a neat night shot. I actually shot this from the hip, believe it or not. It’s shot at F2./8 at ISO 1000 and 1/40th of a second. I got lucky with the focusing since I couldn’t tell if I was hitting her or not, and at F2.8 the depth of field (amount in focus) is pretty darn shallow. Hope you like it. At least Monday’s over.

Be patient, Dave. Things will happen in due time. You’ll see. You sing, you play guitar, you have amazing design sense, you’re funny, nice, organized, AND you cook, too?? What is wrong with the women in Canada??

Try not to let all the Valentine’s Day nonsense get you down. Love happens every day of the year – not just Feb 14th. Trust me – it’s better that way!

Good shot…did she make the trolley?
