Wide angle alley in black & white

Okay, now that V-Day’s over lets dispense with all the saccharin and get back to the street. Here’s a shot I took with my wide angle lens a couple of weeks back out at Liberty Village in Toronto’s west end. I processed it as a gritty desaturated colour photo but then decided to make it black & white. Both work, in my opinion. That’s Adam from our photo walks group walking down the alley. I asked him to go up and then walk back so I’d have a person in my shot. I suppose that’s cheating but I really wanted a person and their shadow in the shot. Hope you like it.
