Really Happy Dog

It’s hard to take a picture of a really happy dog. They don’t see the need for it. They just want your attention, your love. The nice ones do, anyway. Dogs are god’s gift to us, to give us a chance to experience pure, unconditional love. You don’t feel exposed and vulnerable when you open your heart to a dog. There’s no risk of rejection or judgment. They don’t care what you look like or if you’re having a bad hair day. You spare them a dime they give back a dollar. And when you’re having a really bad day, maybe feeling sad and alone, a dog can turn it all around, make your heart swell, even if it’s only short lived. I’ve never had a dog, but have experience that pure feeling of joy when around them. There’s really nothing like it, at least for me.

Sorry, no story again tonight. Just not in the mood to think right now. Hope you have a good night. Tomorrow’s Friday, yay! Results day from the sleep clinic. I can’t imagine what they’re going to tell me. Wish me luck.

maybe the sleep clinic will tell you to get a dog……they are great for therapy.

    • LOL… Wouldn’t that be a coincidence, after this post. 🙂
I had a cat once, for 13 years. Had to have her put down. Never been through anything sort of pain like that, before or since. I’ll never have a pet again. Just can’t take the idea of it dying on me. Well, maybe an elephant. I hear they live to like 70 or something. Or maybe a giant snapping turtle. They live to over 100. But he’d probably chomp straight through the leash during our walks in the park.
