War torn

So where do you think I took this shot? Beirut? Iraq? Afghanistan? How about Church and Dundas in downtown Toronto last Sunday. The St. Patty’s Day parade happened to include a bunch of military vehicles. At one point I decided to walk back to my truck to drop off my jacket and came upon this vehicle stopped at the lights. I noticed a middle eastern woman crossing the street and waiting for her to step into my shot. It worked out just as planned.

So it’s Friday and another workweek bites the proverbial dust. There’s a photo walk tomorrow and although I’m presently charging my camera batteries I still haven’t decided whether or not to go. I know I should. I really need to, in fact. But I also sort of want to be alone. It’s a strange feeling. I’m lonely and desperate to be around friendly faces, but at the same time I don’t want to be around anyone. Hard to explain. Anyway, I hope you had a good week and have a great weekend planned.

  1. I like the “tagline ” under your blog name…. It’s a common sentence I say when having my picture taken with friends.
