This is how we are fading – Lazy Photographer Slideshow

Here’s a slide show of my more recent photography. I created it this afternoon. You may have seen a few of the shots already but most will be new. Check it out.

Wonderful compilation of your work, Dave, with a great musical pick as well.

One of the wonderful things about photography as you do it, is the true “snapshot in time” aspect. I find myself wondering about the people. Where were they going? Why? What are their lives like? Is the old man with the walker safe in his life? Is he cared for and loved? The little children peeking over the parent’s shoulder – I hope they are as happy as they look.

As I watched, I realized I was making up stories about them to answer my questions, creating lives for them in my head.

    Great stuff, Dave! Adventuresome. Thanks.

    • Thank you, HMB. You are so right. I often reflect on these photos after the fact, wondering the same things you mentioned. Then, sometimes I’ll come across an older photo and I’ll remember the day I took it and who I was with and how I was feeling. A lot of the magic in photography is seeing beyond the photo, opening your mind up to the story, be it theirs or your own.
