One man band

Well I got Lightroom 4.1 all loaded up and operation. I then went back and re-edited a few of the photos I’d edited earlier today. Gotta say, the change in control is fantastic. You can really tweak and fine tune your photos in LR4.1. Plus, I’m going to create my next Blurb book right inside Lightroom. The photo above was originally edited in LR3 and I was very happy with it. Then I played with it more in LR4.1 and was able to improve on it, albeit only slightly. But I now have control over things I simply was not able to easily control in LR3, and it’s a blessing. Plus, I like that there’s now a noise reduction slider in the brush and gradient tools. For instance, you can now paint the sky and dial back the noise in it, while leaving the rest of the photo alone. Very useful feature.

As for the photo, I took it yesterday at the Little Italy festival. This guys was quite the talent. Very funny, too. Had to take a bunch of photos of him until I landed one or two I liked.

OMG, I haven’t seen one of those for years, I thought they were a thing of the past.

You have a new fan…I love this…love it sooo I can’t click like can I? That would ‘nt be enough 🙂

  3. Lightroom 4.1 is my workhorse right now. However, I’m pretty sure it will fall by the wayside once I really get to understand Photoshop CS6 and Photo-Paint X6. They are so much more powerful than Lightroom.
