Zombies can be HOT too

Well I had my inaugural outing with my new Canon 5D Mrk III full-frame camera. It’s a tank, let me tell ya. And although I’ve only begun to learn the ins and outs of all the features and functionality, I did manage to at least get some nice shots with it. Today was pretty dark and cloudy and I did find myself shooting with a shutter speed that was too slow, but only because I was simply not taking advantage of the camera’s capabilities. Once I’ve got ‘er all set up, it will be easy to overcome almost every tricky lighting situation.

The lovely zombie above was kind enough to stop and let me photograph her. What a beautiful smile. I’d love to see her without her makeup. I’ll post more shots of zombies in the coming days. I certain have a ton of them. Hope you’re having a good weekend.

Congrats on your new camera!! enjoy it and keep delighting us with your pics!
I have a question, the people you take pictures of, do they get a copy of the image? I think this zombie would like to see her portrait!

    • Hi Regina. Thanks. I’m enjoying my new toy. As for your question, I do post the zombie photos to my Flickr page and then share them with the Toronto Zombie Walk group page. If anyone requests a photo I’m more than happy to send them a high res copy no charge. There are more photographer than zombies at this event, so with so many people taking their photo, I’m sure they are overwhelmed and just get shots from their friends.
