Bunny slippers

This shot dates back to mid June of this year. I think I was on Yonge St. north of Gerrard. Saw this poor soul in his chair with his bunny slippers and had to capture it. I think they’re bunny slippers, although they might be some other animal, I’m not sure.

We had one windy night here in Toronto. Lots of rain, too, but the wind was the really scary part. Kept waking me up throughout the night. I live in an old framed house built in 1922 and whenever it’s really windy my house sort of sways in the wind. I also have a huge old oak at the side of it and worry about it coming down in the wind. But so far I think we’ve made it, although my understanding is there’s more to coming between now and the end of the week. I saw shots out of New York and Atlantic City that show the devastation. I hope all my friends south of the border are okay and did not suffer too much damage. My prayers are with you.

That pic is hilarious…how do you stumble upon these gems all the time??? I know…out and about, you are bound to. I love it ! I will be in New York this time next week with my sister. At least that was the plan, unless they cancel our flights. ! No damage at my house thank God, only the cover blew off the BBQ ! 🙂 Have a good day !

    • Thanks Frances. Hopefully NY will be back in business by next week. Looks like they got hit hard. No damage at my place, although I haven’t been out to inspect it yet. Just about to head off to work. You have a good day, too. Cheers.
