Dark Horse Coffee

LeslievilleMarch-83-EDITED

Well I did get out yesterday for a bit. Slipped over the Leslieville and walked around with the camera. Stopped in at Merchant of Green Coffee and had a cappuccino before walking back to the car. There’s this girl who works there who is totally cute, just my type, but waaay too young for me. If only I was like 25 years younger. 🙂

This here is a shot of the building that’s home to Dark Horse Coffee. They make excellent drinks but the staff seems to suffer from a “I’m too cool for you” attitude. That’s okay, whatever works for them. Toronto is chockablock with coffee houses and cafes run by friendly folks so I’ll just go to them instead. A couple of weeks back I dropped into the west end location of Dark Horse thinking maybe the staff would be somewhat different (i.e. less snobby), but it seems they’re all trained by the same person on how to be aloof. It’s no coincidence that aloof rhymes with “a goof,” now is it. 😉
