Dundas Square Water Feature

WoofStock2013-210-EDITED

I shot this back in early June. I’d pictured the shot in my mind and all that was necessary was the patience for it to happen. Simply, I needed someone to walk through the shot in the foreground so I’d catch his/her reflection in the wet concrete. Being Dundas Square — one of the busiest spots in Toronto — it wasn’t much of a wait. The real problem was getting a shot with just the one person in it. All around were dozens of people walking in every direction, so I had but a moment to catch this. A moment later there was a crowd of folks walking through my shot.

Well tomorrow’s Friday, and a long weekend. Monday is Canada Day and we all have it off. I’m looking forward to the rest, since it’s been very busy at work this week and will be next week, too.
