Rally @ the square

Here’s a shot from yesterday’s rally to draw attention to what’s going on in Venezuela at Dundas Square. The setting sun of the late afternoon made for some nice shadows. Light and shadow really are important things to pay attention to as a photographer. With this shot everyone had their back to me and for that reason I felt the photo was missing an element. Then the woman with the balloons turned around. Her alone facing me with the crowd facing away really made the shot, in my opinion. And the icing on the cake was that she happened to be the one with the balloons. Hope you like it. Happy Sunday.
