Night Light

Christmas Day 2015-344-EDITED

The streetlamps on Front St. in the St Lawrence District kick off this weird circular light pattern on the pavement. I’ve never come across this before. So I set my shutter pretty slow at 1/15th of a second and waited for someone to walk into the shot, so I could pick up the heavy blur from their movement. I wish this guy had been taking bigger strides, though. I would have liked to catch him in mid stride with a wide “tent” shape to his legs. But you take what you can get, I suppose. I could have waited for someone else to come along but this was Christmas day evening and the streets were pretty bare. Anyway, hope you like it.
