Fuji X Pro 2

Some of you may not be aware but those into cameras will be for sure. Fuji has just announced the new X Pro 2. It’s a rangefinder style mirrorless camera that has almost a Leica look and feel to it. In my opinion it’s almost the perfect street photographer’s camera. Anyway, I’m thinking this might be my next big purchase. It’s cool as all get-out and the image quality is supposed to be superb, especially low light IQ. On the downside is the cost. The body alone here in Toronto costs $1,900 plus tax. With a high quality lens you’re looking at $3,000+. If you want, say, three prime lenses for it, then plan on $5,000+. But Fuji makes some amazing lenses, especially their primes. In other words, it’s really nice but very expensive. But one can dream, right? Check out the video.

If I were to make a complete switch [from Nikon] this is the way I would go. Compact size and minimal weight is a plus for sure. I really like the external camera controls.

    • Yeah, but you know what… I was playing around with a buddy’s XT10 and another buddy’s XE1 on the weekend and found it hard to read the dials without my reading glasses on. I hadn’t thought of that issue. You have to have good eyesight to read the numbers on the dials. On Jan 20, 2016 7:57 AM, “the lazy photographer” wrote:
