Boy in the window

I made it out yesterday for a walkabout downtown. Boy I’m glad I did, as the weather seems to be about to take a turn for the worst. By next weekend they’re talking about -15 C here in Toronto with a windchill of -26C or more. Gonna be COLD. Too cold for any walkabouts, at least for me anyway.

On my way back to my car I passed a Starbucks and this boy was people watching as I approached. When he saw me raise my camera he moved back, but he was too curious to get entirely out of the way and kept staring at me and the camera. I gave him a smile and a thumbs up as I walked by. He wasn’t sure if he should smile back. He seemed to still be assessing a situation that had already passed. Anyway, the shot’s a little blurry but that’s okay. I’m still happy with it. Hope you had a nice weekend too.
