Hitachi Shadow at Sunset

I’ve been passing this spot for months now on my way home from work each day. One day a few weeks ago a backhoe showed up parked along side this wall. I noticed the shadow cast by the late afternoon sun and knew it would make a neat shot. I’ve been waiting a while now for the right weather so I would take this photo and yesterday was perfect. There’s another spot a block from here I also pass and also wanted to photograph, so I managed to shoot both spots last evening about an hour before sunset. This shot isn’t exactly the one I’d envisioned taking, but it worked out. Down the road I’ll post the one I’d anticipated. Happy Saturday.
