Street Portraiture

I shot this portrait a few weeks back during an outing downtown. I processed it the day I shot it, but this is a re-processed version using Silver Efex Pro 2. That’s a plug-in for Lightroom that gives you more control over creating black & white photos. The thing is, you have to be very careful not to overdue it. There’s a structure slider that works much like Lightroom’s clarity slider. It makes the photo that much more contrasty and sharp looking. I may have overdone it with this photo, I’m not sure. Anyway, hope you like it. Feel free to comment if you think it’s too harsh.
