Window Focused

I snapped this one outside of the Starbucks at Yonge & College last weekend. I was crossing the street and noticed the two dudes in the window. I shot it from a distance, which was only possible because of my 24-105mm zoom lens. And that brings me to my one big issue with going with the new Fuji X Pro 2 and a couple of prime (fixed focal length) lenses. No matter what prime lens you have on your camera, there are always going to be shots you miss for not having a zoom lens mounted. Sure, I could simply get a zoom for the Fuji, they do make them. But they are huge compared to the size of the camera. The X Pro 2, in my opinion, is really meant for smaller prime lenses. Nice and discrete for the street. When you consider the cost, around $3,000 with a single prime lens, you need to be 100% certain it’s the way you want to shoot. Anyway, food for thought.
