I shot this back at the beginning of the month. In anticipation of a nice snowfall in the frecast I brought Wilson (my Canon 5D Mrk III) out to play, with a 50mm f1.4 prime on him. The thought was to freeze falling snow with the fast prime. When we got downtown for the walk it rained the whole time instead, ruining my idea. In the rain I would have much preferred my 24-105mm f4 zoom. The result was I didn’t get many shots at all, since 50mm really isn’t a focal length I’m any good at. But this one came out nice. And it’s a little different for me. Hope you like it.
