Old Clock Tower

SeptOpenStreets-166-EDITED

I’ve been watching and documenting this site for a while now. There used to be a long line of Yonge St. retail storefronts here, but they’ve been torn down to make way for another condo development. But the old clock tower will remain and be somehow incorporated into the new project. This photo I snapped on Sunday during the Open Streets event, where they closed Yonge St. and a part of Bloor St. to vehicular traffic in city council’s never ending war on cars.
