A dog and his shadow

This one dates back to early September, 2017. I don’t recall where I was but I think it’s from a neighbourhood in Toronto called Cabbagetown. Back then I lived in the suburbs of Scarborough about 20 minutes away by car. Little did I know just a couple of years alter I’d be living within walking distance if this downtown neighbourhood in a rental apartment. Just as surprising is that I’d be pretty much retired. You just never know what changes will come at you in life. All my worries from 2017 are way in my rearview mirror now, which is nice.
