Urban Landscapes

Got out both days this weekend for a little photo therapy. The above shots are more urban landscapes than pure street photography. Boy, this is absolutely my favourite weather — not too hot and no humidity. Simply, fall jacket weather. Based on these images I know our downtown looks pretty quiet but it was actually quite busy. I just waited for the right moment before firing the shutter. In the second photo you’ll notice the guy walking down the middle of the street. Well, they closed Yonge Street for a part of Sunday to encourage people to get out and walk. I’m no fan of road closures, but Yonge’s usually not that busy on a Sunday morning anyway, so closing it has little impact on adjacent streets, traffic wise. Anyway, hope y’all had a good weekend, too. Happy Monday.

P.S. Follow me on Instagram for my black & white photography.
