Floating image format

I recently discovered one of the editing programs I use (ACDSee Pro) allows me to create a white background and have my image float on it with a drop shadow that gives the appearance of it hanging on a wall. I really dig it. Hope you do, too.

I started employing this format for the sake of posting vertical images on Instagram. I can make the white background square, which suits IG’s format, then drop a portrait oriented image into it. So far it’s working fine.

This image is from my archives and was one of my early street shots that I was really super pleased with. Hope you like it.

Follow me on Instagram, if you wish.
