Ahhh… Spring has finally sprung here in Toronto, Canada!
So we’re back into a lockdown again. Our reopening was short lived, like two weeks long. But what’cha gonna do, right? Case numbers were growing like crazy and our ICU beds across the province were filling up quickly. The latest … Continue reading

Two selfies and two colour street shots

Shots from my walkabout through downtown Toronto last weekend
Well it looks like spring’s closer than ever. The weather’s been slowly getting more comfortable and I’ve even had a few opportunities to sit outside in my local park to read, which is nice. Usually during the winter months I’ll … Continue reading

Winners
Shot this back in late May at the height of the pandemic. The reflection from the windows on the office tower across the street bathe this building in beautiful late day sunlight. I often find myself shooting this building when … Continue reading

Take us to your leader
Snapped this back in early June. I’ve always thought this art installation looked like aliens. The CN Tower makes the shot for me. Hope you’re enjoying Canada Day. Me, I’ve been busy moving a friend of mine these past two … Continue reading

Light & shadow play on Bay St.
I shot this back in early May when the lockdown was still in effect. I love the light and shadow play here and hung out on this corner for a good half hour or more. With so few cars on … Continue reading

Royal Alex Theatre
This is one of Toronto’s most famous theatres. Built in 1907, the 1,244-seat Royal Alex is the oldest continuously operating legitimate theatre in North America. I’ve never been inside, but I hear it’s beautiful. The current show, Come From Away, … Continue reading
