Patience is important
Patience is the cornerstone of good street photography, in my opinion. It’s sort of like fishing. You don’t row out to your favourite fishing spot, cast your line and when you get no bites in the first five minutes, reel … Continue reading

Life, now in 3D
This is actually a shower certain in a storefront window. I wasn’t really expecting the reflections would work out so well, to be honest. I think this would make a neat poster. Anyway, hope you like it. Stay safe.

100 University
I like the windows on this building. Makes for some fun reflections. I shot this on a beautiful Saturday a week or so back. Coincidentally, the Canadian head office of the financial firm I used to work at is located … Continue reading

February in Toronto
I snapped this over the weekend. It was really sunny and the skyscrapers downtown were reflecting the sunshine like crazy. Made for a ton of photo opportunities.

Keep the kid dry
I shot this near the end of November on a rainy Saturday walkabout through Chinatown. I saw this little child in the covered stroller and thought it was the cutest thing. They passed me so I had to sort of … Continue reading

Rainy Saturday Cyclist
Got out for a walk in the rain today. Threw on my wide angle prime, the Fuji 14/2.8. Nice lens but man it’s slow at AF. And it misses entirely at times. Fortunately this shot came out as planned. Hope … Continue reading

That’s not how you back up
This one dates back to a pleasant end-of-winter day in mid March. I was surprised she didn’t react to me raising my camera to her but she was on the phone (no surprise) and likely somewhat oblivious to her surroundings. … Continue reading

Laundry Day
I shot this back in the middle of June during a walkabout in Toronto’s west end. I like how the rest of the person is reflected in the glass of the door, although admittedly it’s not easy to see. Hope … Continue reading
