Streetcar
Shot this three weeks back. He’d stopped for the lights at Queen & Yonge and I was crossing in front of him. I just dropped low and snapped off the shot really quickly. I’d planned on converting it to b/w … Continue reading

Bridge over Queen
I snapped this one from the walkway that connects the Eaton Centre to The Hudson’s Bay store a couple of weeks back. Not much to add. Hope you like it.

Street portraits
I ran into this guy on Yonge Street. What a character. Talked non stop a mile a minute. Derek’s his name. Nice enough guy and he knows how to work it as a model. Just got lucky running into him.

Statue & cyclist
This is one of those very lucky shots. I was just setting up for it, assuming I’d have to wait a while before the right person walked through the shot, when suddenly this cyclist comes along. I barely had time … Continue reading

Tree Art
I shot this on Queen West a while back. It’s an old, dead tree and all that remains is the trunk, which someone has painted with graffiti. I saw the kid coming and knew he was going to skirt around … Continue reading

Big Yellow Bike
I shot this during my June vacation. I was out on a walk with a friend of mine and we meandered down to the harbour front. That day I was sporting my wide angle 16-35mm lens. It’s a ton of … Continue reading

Tall ships on the water
I shot this during the Canada Day weekend, when the tall ships came to town. They’re pretty amazing to see. I imagine this must be a huge treat for the kiddies. If I had young kids I would have taken … Continue reading

Tower in B/W
To be honest when I snapped this back in May I really didn’t think I would end up editing it. At the time I didn’t see it as a b/w photograph. Once I started processing it in LR I ended … Continue reading
