Crane and glass in blue

Okay, you’re getting two tonight. I’ve been sitting on this one for a while, trying to figure out how best to crop and process it. I think this works but feel free to not like it. I took this right after I’d parked my car last Saturday and started walking up to meet the photo walks group about ten block away. I had something like this in mind when I saw the scene but wasn’t sure it would work later on the computer. I’ll leave it for you to decide.

I like the colors. The soft blue of the sky, contrasted with the steel blue of the building seem fitting. I find the reflection of the cranes very interesting and surprising. I’m not sure what to make of the object in the lower left corner. It appears very industrial, which fits. I don’t know.

    • Thanks. On my work monitor it looks like the blue is too punchy. My home monitor is much better so I didn’t notice it. The object to the left is actually a street lamp. I probably should have photoshopped it out. Have a great weekend.
